There is a wide range of facilities on-site to help you enjoy your stay with us. Here we provide a small synopsis to give you a flavour of what's on offer at Whispering Sands.

FOR THE KIDS

The colourful Kiddie's Playground, complete with extensive playground equipment including climbing frame, slides, swings and rockers is located near the restaurant. All ground areas within the Kiddie's Playground area are covered with soft safety material designed purposefully for children's play areas.

This is not the only play area for children available at Whispering Sands. We are very pleased to say that we have one of the very few indoor Soft Play Zones available in Turkey. Extending to 1000 square feet, our Soft Play Zone provides endless hours of fun for children of various ages. Located here also is the Games Room which has table air hockey and table football. We have staff situated here to provide assistance to the children and to see that all is well.

      

The Kiddie's Pool is approximately 18 inches deep and is ideal for toddlers under supervision. We have covered it entirely with a sun canopy thereby allowing the children to play in the water without the risk of getting overheated in the summer sun. Parents should supervise their small children around the pool areas at all times.

Whisper Kids Club

During the months of July and August we operate the Whisper Kids Club specifically for children aged 4 and above. The Whisper Kids Club provides 4 hours of supervised games and entertainment each day. The Whisper Leaders will arrange a varied programme to cater for the various age groups and this will allow the parents to get some free time at the pool, or to go shopping, or to have a quiet drink at the bar. On arrival or on the first morning introduction you will be able to check the price and enrol your child/children into the club. Our Whisper Leaders are all from home and have been chosen specially for this important task.

Kiddie's Mini Disco

At the end of each day we have our Kiddie's Disco. This begins at 7.00pm and lasts for about 30 minutes. While you get ready for the evening ahead why not let the children come to the Kiddie's Disco to enjoy a half hour of children's songs, music and dancing led by the Whisper Leaders. This is the children's time. Our Kiddie's Disco is located downstairs in Sublime, our themed sports/music bar.

FOR THE GROWN-UPS

Where do we start? Let's begin with Sublime, our themed sports/music bar. This air conditioned underground bar, which holds 100 people, is fitted with 4 flat screen televisions enabling multi viewpoints with controlled amplified sound enhancement. The ultra modern Main Bar is complemented by a separate matching Shot Bar and matching DJ Box where the sound controls, mixing deck and disco light controls are housed. The tiled dance floor is adjacent to the single-step raised stage. In the evenings enjoy live music, sing-along, dance and karaoke nights. The bars in Sublime close late.

      

Serenity our Health, Fitness & Beauty Suite provides the opportunity to pamper yourself. Slip away for an hour to yourself. Exercise in the gymnasium, sizzle in the sauna, then have a relaxing massage. We offer a full range of health and beauty treatments including a range of body massage and scrubs, aromatherapy massage and anti-stress treatments, pedicure, manicure, various depilatory and exfoliation treatments, make up, ladies and gents hairdressing. For your comfort and convenience, changing rooms and shower facilities are provided at Serenity.

      

The Pool Bar located conveniently to the pool, terrace and restaurant serves a wide range of beers and spirits including imported brands. Soft drinks, coffee and tea, smoothies, ice creams and ice lollies, fruit juices and cocktails are all available here until 11.00 pm, when this bar closes.

Our open-air Restaurant, located by the pool terrace, offers breakfast, lunch and sumptuous a-la-carte evening meals. Breakfast and lunch menus provide a range of western style food that will please all appetites. Our evening meal menu changes daily allowing for a little mystery whilst not permitting boredom. Our resident chefs take great pride in their culinary expertise striving to please by presenting mouth watering dishes whether it is fish, meat or vegetarian. Your only difficulty will be in choosing what you will not eat. The sample menu shown here will give you an idea of what's on offer in our Restaurant.

Due to popular and public demand an On-site Shop will be available from the summer of 2008. The Shop will be stocked with all the necessities for a happy and comfortable holiday. Please let us know if there is any missing item that you would like us to stock.

One of the outstanding features of Whispering Sands is the fresh water Swimming Pool. Beautiful crystal clear water, 1.4 meters deep and inviting, will entice you to jump in and cool off. An open Jacuzzi is located in one corner of the pool and provides fun for children and adults alike. The Swimming Pool at Whispering Sands is one of the few in Kusadasi that can be heated in the wintertime, thus allowing the use of the pool all year round. All the pool and terrace furniture is provided for your use and this even includes the floating sun beds.

MORE BENEFITS THAN MANY HOTELS

There are lots of facilities and benefits at Whispering Sands that you would fail to find at many 5 star hotels.

Each apartment has a safety deposit box for your added convenience. A nominal payment is required from you to cover your usage and this will be explained on your arrival or on the first morning.

At Whispering Sands we provide a Medical Room with an English speaking doctor on call 24 hours every day. Ambulance and helicopter services are available if necessary.

Secure gated access with permanent Entrance Guard day and night all year round together with infra red perimeter cameras ensures that Whispering Sands is secure and safe. Each Block also has its own secure coded entrance door.

All apartments have a Smoke Alarm that is wired directly to the security office. Not only does the Smoke Alarm set off the warning but the signal lets the guard know where the problem is, thereby saving vital time in bringing assistance to those in need.

Each apartment has its own Electric Water Heater system. There is no gas installation in any apartment. The large hot water tank of 80 litres caters easily for the needs of the occupants of each apartment.

The Internal Telephone System has a video connection to the main entrance door to the Block allowing you to see who wants into the Block before you press the door release buzzer. This phone system also allows you to speak directly to the office, security office, pool bar and Sublime bars, and also to all apartments in the complex.

Every apartment has Air Condition. Each bedroom has an individual unit as does the living room. All we ask is that you pay a small rental fee for the remote controls. This will be explained in detail when you arrive.

All Blocks have a Lift. No need to climb the stairs unless you want the exercise.

For your added convenience 3-point plugs have been installed in the Living Room and Master Bedroom of all apartments so, even if you have forgotten to bring your adaptor plug, it doesn’t matter.

There is a dedicated Taxi Rank at the main entrance gates to the complex with whom we have negotiated discounted fixed fares so that you know exactly what the cost is before you step into the Taxi. In the summer season, which is from the beginning of May until the end of October, the Taxis are available 24 hours a day. Only the Taxis outside our complex have negotiated with us. Choosing another Taxi downtown to bring you back will cost more...always ask for the price before getting in as there is a wide range of charges from the multitude of Taxi cabs plying their trade. Should you have any problem contact our office at Whispering Sands and they will take care of you.

We have provided a Wireless Internet Café at our office. You are more than welcome to take advantage of this service free of charge. Bring your laptop and we will insert the password commands to allow you access to our server. Use our computers if you do not have your laptop with you.

We do provide a Babysitting Service on request. This can be arranged once you arrive, but to ensure availability please let our office know in advance if you require this service as we have a limited number of resident babysitters.

Many Tours and Sight-Seeing Trips can be arranged through our office, such as days out to Ephesus, The water parks Adaland and Aquafantasy (these are 2 really good water parks on the edge of town about 5 minutes drive from Whispering Sands), Soke shopping outlet stores, the beach, The Virgin Mary's house, the former Greek mountain village of Sirince now famous for its berry wines, Pamukkale the hot spas that look like cotton cliffs, go-kart racing, horse riding, lots and lots of sea sports such as scuba diving, paragliding, wind surfing, fishing trips, leisurely boat trips, water skiing, and much much more. OTHER DISTINCTIVE BENEFITS OF WHISPERING SANDS

We operate a Cashless System at Whispering Sands. It is called a "Tom" system. On arrival or on the first morning, as part of the introduction process, we will explain how the system works. It is really simple. Instead of cash, we load credit onto your "Tom", a wrist "watch" and every time you purchase something at Whispering Sands whether it is food, drink, "pamper me" sessions in Serenity, items in The Shop, children's membership of the Whisper Kid's Club, trips or tours, your "watch" will be used to pay for it just like swiping a credit card. When you need to, you can come to the office and load more money onto your "watch". At each time of purchase you will be provided with an itemised receipt that also gives you a running balance of what you have left. The wrist "watch" is safe to use in the pool so you do not need to take it off at any time. You do not have to carry cash around with you in Whispering Sands. This system is very simple and safe to operate and permits you to enjoy a more relaxed holiday.

Whispering Sands is a Non-Smoking Complex. The first Non-Smoking Complex in the whole of Turkey, a fact we are very proud of. Smoking is not allowed at any part of the complex including the pool and terrace areas, Serenity and the restaurant, football pitch and all communal areas inside and out. There are only 2 exceptions. We do provide a smoking zone within the complex upstairs above the kitchen. This first floor roof terrace enjoys superb views of the pool and terrace areas. Comfortable chairs and tables allow you to have a drink and smoke in a relaxed setting without being under pressure. It is not permissable to smoke in the apartments. Please adhere to this non-smoking policy. This is a smoke-free Resort. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor smoking locations.

We have our own Football Pitch. This FIFA regulated all weather Football Pitch is fully enclosed with netting both around and over, so you will not have to go outside to look for the football. Floodlighting means that games can be held at night time when it is a little cooler. The Football Pitch is big enough for 8-a-side, although most games played on it so far have been 6-a-side; it really depends on who is playing, children or adults. Don't be surprised if you are coerced into playing as it is likely there will be inter-block rivalry.

Finally we must mention our staff. Our Dedicated Employed Staff will go that extra mile to ensure that you are enjoying your holiday to the maximum. We employ a blend of Irish and Turkish people chosen specially for their talent in the field of catering and entertainment. Most of our Turkish employees speak good English so you should not have any problem with communication. Please feel free to reward any of our staff that you deem have served you exceptionally well, as we do not permit our staff to operate an on-view communal "Tip Box."
